LaserCare Remote Assist Welcome to Remote Assist -- a one-stop technical solution for your everyday support needs. Remote Assist is a standardized software program that allows Client (customer) and Server (LaserCare helpdesk) to directly engage in a remote support session online. No router/modem/firewall configuration is needed to access a remote PC even when both parties are behind a protected network. A built-in encryption using TWF 256 and DH key exchange enables a secure connection between client and server. How it works To open an online support session you must first contact LaserCare at (310)202-4200 and give a detailed explanation of the problem you are experiencing to our Digital Specialist. A technical assessment will be performed and if the problem can be solved remotely, the customer will be granted an online support session. If a support session is granted, the customer can download the Remote Assist tool, execute it and be in contact with a LaserCare representative within a matter of seconds. Key features

This new security feature in Vista locks all applications when asking the user for this access level. It can be disabled it in Vista.
